Yesterday was the first day of the shoot.

\nWhich is true time ?
\nmy emotional time
\nor the percieved one ?
\nHas the world changed in the meanwhile ?
\nAm I like an intergalactic traveller that came back to earth
\nand found that time had fast forwarded ?
\nAm I getting confused because I have a day off ?
\nand don’t know what to do ?
\nWhat have I shot ? Have I shot ?
\nWas I in control ?
\nAbsolutely not.
\nYet somehow inexorably, the film is being made.
\nfor three weeks, apparently !
\nI can feel waves of admiration
\nfollowed by tidal waves of doubt
\nall perception of others
\nof my performance
\non the day
\nmy performance ?
\nmine ?
\nwish i could feel the pleasure of praise
\nand anger against doubt
\nI feel neither
\njust a crutch that I am holding on to
\nso that I do not fall off
\nthis strange perch
\non which I am so precariously balanced
\non the crows nest
\non top of the huge mast
\nof an ancient ship
\nthat is heaving in a huge storm
