10 thoughts on “past, present, future

  1. Past. Present. Future.
    Extinct. Existing. Evolving.
The extinct no longer exists to evolve
The existing evolves to become extinct
The evolved existed only to evaporate

  2. past — an autumn evening soft and mild
with a wind that sighs mournfully.
present — green and flowery spray
where a young bird sits gathering its power
    to mount and fly away.
future — sea beneath a cloudless sun
    a mighty, glorious, dazzling sea
    stretching beyond infinity.

  3. Letting go is a theme you keep returning to, I’ve noticed. Yes it’s difficult, repetition and reminding oneself certainly helps in many cases..
But like the kid who was asked not to think about mangoes, the more one tells oneself to let go, the more one may get attached. To truly move on, it seems looking forward is better? What lies ahead of you? What new enriching experience can you discover?

look at it positively…these are not mere words that are in search for some concrete solution the way you hav offered .
these words are indicative of a constant and HONEST human EFFORT . and also an acceptance. that is what is worth admiring .
if you could feel that , you would understand…that its not the writer’s weakness, but his strength.
please dont confuse this with a mere…mere.. frustration.
i apoligize shekhar if i appear presumptuous on account of the above.

  5. The Past is to learn from and overcome.
The Future is to hope for and aspire.
The moment indeed is to live for while learning and overcoming, and hoping and aspiring.

  6. Hi All!
Apropos the Cycle of Past-Present-Future….I think ..its seamless within the coordinates of the time and space.
    1. Three people, will see the string of Past- Present and Future differently.
    (a) The ones … ‘who wonder how things happen’ …will see the PAST.
    (b) The one …’who see the things happen’ ….will see the PRESENT as well as the PAST.
    (c) And a few blessed ones …’who will …or shall always make things happen’ ….They will (always and every time) in one glance… see the FUTURE ….as well as the PRESENT and the PAST. These people constantly evolve from within, they are never outdated in their approach; never tired or stressed out , they are always ahead of the TIME and constantly in search of various combinations on the solution matrix rather than embroiled with the gravity of the problems. They invariably make good LEADERS…Always willing to do new things in a different way…. Never scared of failures or defeats …Never shy of responsibilities and accountability …Never looking at the acclaim…but constantly in tune with the process to refine and redefine the result. My question is where are these people.
    2. We need to imbibe the ability to constantly travel in PAST – PRESENT and FUTURE as a matter of dispassionate habit with a self-governing audit that never looks for excuses. Soon we will enter the cycle of Learning and de-learning where PAST- PRESENT- FUTURE appear like a flash of light and effortlessly one can fathom its relevance on the content that holds us.
    3. Our existence is never in isolation no matter how lonely or lovely (…or both) one is in ones journey.

  7. “THE ONLY COMPUTER THAT EINSTIEN USED TO WORK OUT HIS SPECIAL THEORY OF RELATIVITY IN 1905 WAS THE ONE INSIDE HIS SKULL.IN MANY WAYS THE BIO CHEMICAL MACHINES ARE FAR CAPABLE THAN ANY ELECTRONIC MACHINES.CERTAINLY NO SEMI CONDUCTOR YET BUILD CAN RIVAL THE DENSITY AND ENERGY EFFICIENCY OF HUMAN BRAIN WHICH PACKED ROUGHLY A MILLION BILLION TRILLION PROCESSING ELEMENTS INTO A KILO GRAM PACKAGE WHICH USES LESS POWER AND GENERATES LESS HEAT THAN ANY PENTIUM 4 MICRO PROCESSOR.”
